PledgeMate is a comprehensive fraternity app that bridges the communication gap between active members and pledges. It gives active members instant access to the entire chapter including new members making it easy to coordinate your fraternity's tasks. When an active member creates a task, every new member is notified via push notification, and whichever member(s) are not busy can then claim and assist with the task. Whatever your fraternity needs to do - find designated drivers, coordinate party builds, up-keep the house, etc. - PledgeMate takes the hassle out of finding members to assist with the task. Specific details of tasks are deleted upon completion. PledgeMate also allows members to locate each other on the Map and contact each other directly through the app. PledgeMate brings in a whole new sense of productivity, safety, and organization to the pledgeship process while saving time and making communication easy. No more gathering members' contact information, or going through the convoluted process of calling/txting members just to hear "they're busy." If for some reason you are not satisfied with the app, the president of your fraternity can always delete his account which immediately deletes his entire fraternity along with all of its members' accounts. (Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.)

- Once the PledgeMate is shown in the iTunes listing of your iOS device, you can start its download and installation. Tap on the GET button to the right of the app to start downloading it.
- If you are not logged-in the iOS appstore app, you'll be prompted for your your Apple ID and/or password.
- After PledgeMate is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.
- Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.
